About Vasaloppet 2027
Vasaloppet is the world's largest long-distance cross-country ski race, covering 90 kilometres from Berga by in Sälen to the historic finish portal in Mora. First held in 1922, it has become one of Sweden's most famous sporting events. Elite and recreational skiers follow the historic Vasaloppet course in classic technique, passing the checkpoints at Smågan, Mångsbodarna, Risberg, Evertsberg, Oxberg, Hökberg and Eldris on their way to Mora.

Yes. Your payment is held securely until the seller has completed the name change and you have confirmed that you received the entry. Only then are the funds released to the seller. The last day for name change is 7 March 2027. After that date it is no longer possible to transfer the entry according to the organiser's conditions. We recommend completing both the purchase and the name change well in advance of the deadline.
The organiser's name change fee is 320 kr and is paid by the buyer. This fee is in addition to the entry price and the Bytastartplats.se service fee.
After purchase, the seller receives email and SMS with the buyer's details and instructions for completing the name change with the organiser. When the name change is done, the seller marks it on Bytastartplats.se and you receive email and SMS to verify the transfer. Once you have your starting place, you confirm receipt on My Pages. The payment is held securely until the name change is completed and confirmed.
If you are prevented from taking part, you can list your entry for sale on Bytastartplats.se. Both the sale and the name change must be completed by 7 March 2027.
